After the discovery of an exploit a few weeks ago, Sony has finally released a firmware update that patches up the flaw.

The firmware is available in all territories and can be downloaded through the PSP's built-in Network Update function or through the Sony PSP site in your territory. The firmware update only patches the security flaw and does not include new functionality, so there isn't much incentive to update your PSP's firmware at this moment.
